Bin

The Bin holds deleted assets for a configurable retention period before they are permanently removed. During this period, any authorised user can restore a deleted asset to its original location. The Bin view shows when each item was deleted and who deleted it, giving administrators visibility into content lifecycle management.

You can browse the Bin just like any other area of the catalog, using search and sort to find specific deleted items. Restoring an asset returns it to its original folder with all metadata, tags, and attributes intact.

Caution

Once an asset is permanently removed from the Bin, it cannot be recovered.
