Order grid

When placing an order on a tablet device the order grid is available. The order grid enables efficient line-item input for quantity and manual discount, and shows stock levels, list price, and totals. The grid can use the Aforza keypad (off by default; enable in mobile configuration under enableKeypad).

The following objects and fields can be added to the order grid to customise the experience:

• Product
• Inventory Product
• Pricebook Entry
• Outlet Asset

Order history

During order capture you can view historical data for product line items (where historical references exist) to understand order trends. Order history outside the grid is optional and configurable; the mobile configurator controls whether the data is present and how many historical orders are queried (up to six, for performance reasons). You can select re-order to pre-populate the order quantity on the grid from a historical value.

Data location:

• Mobile: product image area shows product data and history; historical order reference, date, and quantity; configuration for number of historical orders.
• Tablet: Previous quantity modal on the grid; historical order reference, date, and quantity; configuration includes number of historical orders and display on grid.

Note

Only items with a status of Activated are included in order history.

Product recommendations

When adding a product to the cart you can view recommended products by tapping Recommendations. This shows product association recommendations from Aforza Predict along with any manually defined recommendations. Tap + on a recommendation to add it to the cart. Recommendations appear only if the outlet has access to the product in an assortment. A maximum of three recommendations per product can be synced to Field.
