Product recommendation rules

Recommendation rules define manual recommendation relationships. When a source product lands in the cart, related recommendations appear to suggest additional lines. Manual rules can override automatic suggestions from Aforza Insights when you need explicit control.

Create a manual recommendation rule

• From a product record, open the Related tab.
• Scroll to Relationship Rules (Source Product).
• Click New.
• Select Product Relationship.
• Name the relationship.
• Set Type to Recommendation.
• Set Rule Source to Manual.
• Choose a Target Product.
• Enter a Certainty score to influence ranking.

Note

The recommendation suite can also generate automatic relationships through scheduled analysis; combine both approaches when manual curation and machine suggestions should coexist.
