Deliveries
This content is for Spring ’26. Switch to the latest version for up-to-date documentation.
Deliveries represent planned delivery runs to a customer: what is being taken, when it should arrive, and how the run is progressing. They can be created automatically when an order is placed or raised manually against the account when you need ad hoc planning or corrections.
Delivery records give visibility over status, routing, and fulfilment roles where your org tracks them-for example estimated arrival windows, assignment to a driver or vehicle, and checkpoints as the delivery moves from planned to completed.
Create a delivery
Section titled “Create a delivery”- Open the account the delivery is for.
- Use the Related tab or the appropriate quick action for Deliveries.
- Select New on the delivery related list when you are creating a standalone run, or complete order flow steps that generate a delivery when your process is order-driven.
- Enter the delivery date, products or order link, and any fields your organisation uses for route, vehicle, or contact on site.
- Save the record and update status as the run progresses.
If deliveries are generated from the mobile order process, you may only need to review and adjust them on the web when exceptions occur.
