Applications
This content is for Spring ’26. Switch to the latest version for up-to-date documentation.
This area is where administrators configure integrations so Ava can reach the systems and data your agents and tools rely on. Three integration patterns are supported:
Aforza Salesforce
Section titled “Aforza Salesforce”For customers using Salesforce through Aforza (for example with Field), connect Ava directly to that Salesforce instance for an end-to-end workflow. Ava can read relevant business objects such as accounts, orders, and visits, and write back where your permissions and tools allow.
To onboard the org, open Settings, choose Applications, then Create New. Provide the Org URL, Client ID, and Client Secret, then Create to establish the connection.
Salesforce (standalone)
Section titled “Salesforce (standalone)”If you run Salesforce outside the standard Aforza-managed pattern, you can still connect Ava to that org so chats and tools operate against your own data model and security, subject to the same permission model described in the data security documentation.
The API integration lets you call third-party services---traffic, weather, bespoke line-of-business systems, or anything you expose over HTTPS---through custom tools and agents. You supply configuration details in line with Aforza’s guidance, then implement tools that wrap those endpoints so Ava can call them safely during a chat.
