Mobile setup

The articles in Setup describe how authorised users configure Field from Consumer Goods (custom metadata and JSON). End users do not see these tools in the field app; they receive the behaviour defined for their Salesforce profile.

Admin

Always test configuration changes on a pilot profile before rolling them out. Many changes require affected users to sign out and back in to Field.

Use this section alongside Smart actions and Synchronisation to understand how configuration shapes the offline experience.
