Guides (mobile execution)

Guides are created in Consumer Goods visit planning. Only guides linked to your visit tasks are available offline.

To complete a guide (scheduled task)

• Open a visit.
• On the task list, tap the guide task.
• Follow the steps to enter data.
• Review the summary.
• Tap Complete Guide.

To complete a guide (ad hoc)

• Open a visit.
• Tap Actions on the task list.
• Tap Create Guide and pick a guide from the list.
• Follow the steps, review the summary, then Complete Guide.

To resume a guide

In progress:

• Open the visit.
• On the task list, find the guide task (resumable tasks may show a [Resume Guide] suffix).
• Open it and continue the steps.
• Tap Complete Guide when finished.

Already completed (pre-sync):

• Open the visit.
• On the completed task list, open the guide.
• Edit if needed, review, then Complete Guide.

Note

Completed guides remain editable only until they sync; after sync they are typically read-only and appear as guide results.
