Watermarking

This content is for Spring ’26. Switch to the latest version for up-to-date documentation.

Watermarking applies a visual overlay to assets when they are downloaded or shared. This helps protect your intellectual property and ensures that recipients can identify the source of the content. Administrators configure watermark settings, including the text to display, its position on the asset, opacity level, and size. Different watermark rules can be applied to different user roles or asset types, giving you fine-grained control over which assets are watermarked and under what circumstances.

Watermarks are applied dynamically at the point of download or share. The original asset stored in Studio remains unmarked, preserving the master file’s integrity. This means you always retain a clean version of every asset while ensuring that distributed copies carry appropriate branding or confidentiality notices.
