Commercial policies

A commercial policy is an agreed set of discounts and bundle rules that apply to a set of products. Policies can target account types or sizes, segments, or store-specific agreements.

Create a New Commercial Policy

• From the Aforza Catalog application, open the top drop-down menu and select Commercial Policies.
• On the commercial policies screen, select New.
• Choose the type of commercial policy:
  • Account Commercial Policy
  • Segment Commercial Policy
• Fill in your policy details:
  • Name
  • Description
• Click Save.

Tip

Commercial policies can work together with promotions when Apply Commercial Policies is enabled on the promotion, so negotiated policy pricing and promotional mechanics can both apply where your rules allow.
