Promotion eligibility

Promotion eligibility defines who may order against the promotion independent of products or dates. Narrow offers to independent stores, multiples, banners, or custom segments-or layer segment rules (virtual subsets) alongside a primary target through the segment builder.
Specify a target account
Section titled “Specify a target account”- Edit an Account Promotion.
- Pick Target Account.
- Save.
Specify a target account hierarchy
Section titled “Specify a target account hierarchy”- Edit an Account Promotion.
- Pick Target Account and enable Inheritable so child accounts inherit eligibility.
- Save.
Specify a target segment
Section titled “Specify a target segment”- Edit a Segment Promotion.
- Choose Target Segment.
- Save.
Specify segment rules
Section titled “Specify segment rules”- Open a Segment Promotion → Rules tab.
- Build eligibility with Segment Builder semantics (see Segment Builder documentation).
Overrides for segment promotions at account level
Section titled “Overrides for segment promotions at account level”When a single account should be explicitly included or excluded from an otherwise broader segment promotion:
- Open the promotion → Related → Eligibility Overrides → New.
- Specify the account.
- Choose Eligible to grant access or Ineligible to block-and optional effectivity if the override is time-bound.
- Save.
