Before deploying the Consumer Goods package, baseline Salesforce prerequisites so downstream configuration screens appear as documented.

  • Confirm the org edition exposes Survey capability if your rollout depends on experiential capture-enable Survey Settings accordingly.
    • Open Setup.
    • Search for Survey Settings.
    • Enable Surveys whenever your playbook depends on respondent flows.

Broader housekeeping often includes validating My Domain adoption plans, reviewing storage and API limits for integration spikes, and confirming sandbox refresh cadence so training matches production schema. Align with your Salesforce centre of excellence on edition-specific constraints (for example, whether advanced automation or Experience Cloud features are in scope) before cutover.
