Policy pricing

Policy pricing decides which discounts run against policy products during order capture. Rules can operate per order line (Order Item) or on the whole order (Order).

Add policy pricing

  • From a commercial policy record, open the Related tab.
  • Scroll to Policy Pricing.
  • Click New.
  • Select the Discount Rule to use.
  • Enter Display Text if you want a custom name shown during order capture.
  • Choose Type: product level (Order Item) or order level (Order).
  • For order-level discounts, set composition to control whether order rules affect lines inside bundles.
  • Click Save.
