Basic setup
This content is for Spring ’26. Switch to the latest version for up-to-date documentation.
Once you have enabled multi-currency in Salesforce, there is no additional setup needed in Aforza beyond ensuring your data is configured correctly. When using multiple currencies in Aforza, follow these steps and best practices.
Price Books
Section titled “Price Books”Each product needs a currency standard price assigned to the standard price book. For each currency you enable, you should also maintain separate price books. Keeping price books distinct by currency makes it easier to manage and understand different regions and prices. While it is technically possible to mix currencies in a single price book, this is not recommended.
Promotions
Section titled “Promotions”Each promotion must have a currency assigned. The promotion currency determines when it can be ordered and the currency in which base, predicted, and actual figures are shown. All promotion products should use the same currency as the parent promotion. If currencies differ, financial values will be calculated and displayed incorrectly.
Orders
Section titled “Orders”When you create an order in Aforza, you must set a currency. The order currency defines which price books and promotions are available. The order interface respects the currency on the order record.
Mobile
Section titled “Mobile”A mobile user can only have a single currency assigned. Set each user’s primary transactional currency so the mobile app shows the right records. Only price books, products, and promotions that match the user’s currency are synchronised to the device.
