Audits

Audits run inside a visit. Tapping an audit task creates or reopens the audit for that visit. Behaviour and layouts are customised per audit type in mobile configuration.
To start an audit
Section titled “To start an audit”- Open a Visit.
- On the task list, tap the Audit task.
- Enter any opening details and tap Start Audit.
- Matching outlet assets appear for the audit type.
- Tap an asset for quick entry or select one for the full form.
- When finished, tap Complete Audit.
To resume an audit
Section titled “To resume an audit”In progress:
- Open the Visit.
- If resumable, tap Actions and Resume Audit, then continue.
Completed (pre-sync):
- Open the Visit.
- On the completed task list, open the Audit.
- Edit if needed, then Complete Audit.
To add an asset to an audit
Section titled “To add an asset to an audit”Use this when unexpected products (for example competitor lines) must be recorded.
- Open the visit and the audit task.
- Save any opening details.
- Tap Add Asset and pick from the eligible products shown.
Audit resources
Section titled “Audit resources”Download files from the Resources area on the audit. Auto-download can be set in mobile JSON. Studio (DAM) assets can appear here when enabled.
Audit sync filters
Section titled “Audit sync filters”Mobile configuration can filter which products and outlet assets sync for a given audit type so offline data stays relevant.
Tablet grid experience
Section titled “Tablet grid experience”On tablets, a configurable grid can speed inline edits; camera capture may be available per row. Tap a product name where supported to open the detailed form.
Audit check all
Section titled “Audit check all”A single control can validate all rows subject to configuration; invalid cells are highlighted. Default is off-see Additional configuration values.
Audit position sorting
Section titled “Audit position sorting”Reps can assign positions to rows and sort them to mirror a physical walk of the store; values sync back to the account.
Duplicate audit assets
Section titled “Duplicate audit assets”Product type settings in Salesforce control whether the same SKU can appear more than once in an audit.
Barcode scanning in audits
Section titled “Barcode scanning in audits”You can scan barcodes to find outlet assets when Field is configured for it. See Additional configuration values for JSON.
Horizontal audit grid on mobile
Section titled “Horizontal audit grid on mobile”Grid mode may be offered on phones as well as tablets: open the three-dot menu during an audit and choose Grid Mode where available for faster capture.
