Promotion Designer

The Promotion Designer is a single workspace for viewing and editing a promotion end to end-header, imagery, products, groups, tactics, and base or forecast figures. Alongside calendar-based planning elsewhere in the product, it helps you align promotion windows with trading periods and commercial goals: you see how the offer is constructed, adjust groups and tactics, and keep dates and visibility consistent with where the promotion sits in the year.

In designer view mode you can review promotion details at a glance:

  • Promotion header: name, category, target, status, type, dates, and price book
  • The promotion image
  • Tactics at promotion, group, and product level
  • Product groups with type and amount
  • Promotion products within their groups, with quantity limits
  • Base, predicted, and actual figures at product level

Select Edit to open edit mode. The elements library appears so you can change any part of the promotion. For example you can:

  • Drag products into the designer to create groups or add to existing groups
  • Drag tactics onto the promotion, a group, or individual products
  • Adjust min, max, and default quantities
  • Override base, predicted, and actual figures where your process allows
  • Change group names, types, and amounts
  • Reorder groups to control behaviour at execution time
  • From the Aforza Sales application, open the top dropdown and select Promotions.
  • Click New, choose a record type, enter basic details, and click Save.
  • On the new promotion screen, click Edit.
  • Enter or change name, code, description, category, segment, price book, status, and type.
  • Select the Dates control to set effective, shipment, and in-store dates as required.
  • Select Edit Image to attach a promotion image.
  • From the elements library on the right, drag a product or category into the canvas to create a group; name the group, set type, and enter an amount.
  • Add more products to groups or create additional groups.
  • Under Tactics in the library, drag tactics onto products, groups, or the promotion as needed.
  • Click Done.
