Product effectivity

You control the selling window for each product. Effectivity can follow Effective From / Effective To dates or simply the Active flag. Products outside their window or inactive do not appear in sales channels.

Specify a product’s effective selling period

• From a product record, click Edit.
• Scroll to Effectivity Information.
• Set Active (checked) or inactive (unchecked).
• Set Effective From-first datetime the product is sellable while active.
• Set Effective To-last datetime the product is sellable while active.

Tip

Schedule launches by setting Effective From in the future; the product becomes available automatically when that moment passes.

Tip

Effective dates are optional. Use one or both boundaries, or leave them empty for a product that is always available while active.
