Selective distribution

Selective distribution lets you ensure that an assortment reaches only the customers you intend-large-format grocers only, independent specialists, petrol & convenience banners, or any cohort you can express with segments.

Specify a target account (account assortments)

  • Edit the assortment record.
  • In the Effectivity section, pick a Target Account when this collection is meant for one branch of a hierarchy.
  • Enable Inheritable if child accounts should automatically receive the same assortment without duplicating rules.
  • Save the record.

Specify a target segment (segment assortments)

  • Edit the assortment record.
  • In the Effectivity section, choose a Target Segment created in Segment Builder.
  • Save the record.
  • Open the assortment’s Rules tab.
  • Use the Segment Builder canvas to assemble advanced logic-for example chaining attribute filters.

Sometimes you simply need one customer in or out of an assortment.

  • Open Related.
  • Locate Eligibility Overrides (label may vary).
  • Choose New, pick the customer, and indicate Eligible or Ineligible as appropriate.
  • Optionally constrain the override using effectivity dates for temporary trials or exclusions.
  • Save the row.
