Selective distribution

Selective distribution lets you ensure that an assortment reaches only the customers you intend-large-format grocers only, independent specialists, petrol & convenience banners, or any cohort you can express with segments.

Specify a target account (account assortments)
Section titled “Specify a target account (account assortments)”- Edit the assortment record.
- In the Effectivity section, pick a Target Account when this collection is meant for one branch of a hierarchy.
- Enable Inheritable if child accounts should automatically receive the same assortment without duplicating rules.
- Save the record.
Specify a target segment (segment assortments)
Section titled “Specify a target segment (segment assortments)”- Edit the assortment record.
- In the Effectivity section, choose a Target Segment created in Segment Builder.
- Save the record.
Specify specific segment rules
Section titled “Specify specific segment rules”- Open the assortment’s Rules tab.
- Use the Segment Builder canvas to assemble advanced logic-for example chaining attribute filters.
Specify a single account override
Section titled “Specify a single account override”Sometimes you simply need one customer in or out of an assortment.
- Open Related.
- Locate Eligibility Overrides (label may vary).
- Choose New, pick the customer, and indicate Eligible or Ineligible as appropriate.
- Optionally constrain the override using effectivity dates for temporary trials or exclusions.
- Save the row.
